Native Texan Rick Figueroa is first Vice President Financial Advisor for a financial service firm in Houston, Texas. With over 20 years of experience in the financial sector, Rick received his B.A. in Accounting and M.S. in Land Economics from Texas A&M University in 1991 and 1992, respectively. He joined Arthur Andersen in 1992; then Halliburton in 1995. Serving as a Vice President and Senior Financial Advisor, Rick worked with industry giant Merrill Lynch for over 10 years (1997-2008) where he was honored with the 2007 Leadership in Diversity and Inclusion Award and the 2007 Merrill Lynch Greater Houston Complex Values Award.

As a community leader, Rick is actively involved on the boards for numerous community organizations. In 2008, Rick was appointed by Governor Rick Perry to the Texas Judicial Council. In 2016, Rick was appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to serve as a commissioner on the board for the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Rick currently serves on the Outreach Committee for the National Rifle Association and is also a board member for Hispanic 100, an organization dedicated to sharing free market principles in Hispanic communities across the nation.

Rick has been actively involved in Republican politics for over a decade. He currently serves as a precinct chair, has been a national convention delegate, and is co-chair of the Republican Party of Texas’ New Leaders on the Rise Committee. Rick was proud to serve as a member of both President Trumps National Coalition of Hispanic leaders and his Texans for Trump leadership team. Throughout the campaign, Rick often served as a speaking surrogate for President Trump on news agencies such as MSNBC, CNN, and at live rallies. Rick lives on a ranch in Brenham, Texas with his wife and four children.
